DJ Mag's Best Of British awards 2019: Last days to support your favourites
We are entering the last few days of voting in the national DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards.
The best live Act category features No Bounds’ very own resident, Yorkshire-born Rian Treanor, competing against behemoths such as The Chemical Brothers and Giant Swan.
Having been nominated twice over the past three years, it’s no surprise to see No Bounds’ home venue Hope Works running for the best UK space this year again. Founded by Liam O'Shea in 2012, the venue has "steadily gained a reputation as one of the UK’s crowning club spaces”, putting Sheffield on the map and promoting the most exciting names in the electronic music scene.
Traenor is not the only homegrown talent to be nominated in this year's awards, with Pretty Pretty Good co-founder and resident Yak being nominated for Breakthrough Artist.
Positioned as a counter-balance to the global DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, Best of British directs the spotlight on UK talent — DJs, producers, live acts, ensembles, MCs or labels, clubs, venues, festivals, albums, compilations, tracks, remixes, or live streams. Votes will close on Wednesday 27th November, check out the full list of categories and vote for your favourites here.
