Livia Rita's immersive Kissing Futures performance comes to Sheffield
Livia Rita and the Avantgardeners Collective come to DINA on 13th November as part of the Kissing Futures tour — expect pop, electronic, experimental and new wave influences alongside a colourful, immersive live show.
Originally developed under the mentorship of the late Lindsay Kemp (who also mentored David Bowie), the live show is ‘a surreal live 4d music video’, with Lindsay’s gang of ‘witches’ (dancers) taking to the stage clad in wearable art and using all the creativity at their disposal to create an explosion of colour and sound — a wholly immersive experience.
‘Set out to question the possibilities for the times to come’, Kissing Futures DINA instalment will also feature support from local artists and activists, coming together to create Livia’s ‘post-human utopia of future feminism and abundent queer ecology’.
