Noisia play final Sheffield show for Farewell Tour
Acclaimed drum and bass act, Noisia, are performing for The Tuesday Club (TTC) on the 31st January as part of their Farewell Tour. The Dutch trio announced in September that they would split at the end of 2020, using their remaining time together to round off some unfinished productions, run another year of Noisia Radio as well as embark on one last international tour, so as to “go out with a blast and say goodbye to our fans properly”.
Since forming 20 years ago, Noisia (Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen and Thijs de Vlieger) have risen to become one of the most recognisable acts in global dance music, honing their production skills in a variety of styles - most notably drum and bass whilst also dabbling with breakbeat, house and dubstep influences. When announcing their split, the group assured fans that they remain friends and would continue to “make music together in some shape or form”, whilst citing that the Noisia project had run its natural course.
