Come Thru is an alternative club night focusing on emerging talent. We look to create inclusive and positive club environments on both sides of the decks. On Saturday 11th February, rehearsal/venue co-op CHUNK host us for a one dance and it’s a Valentine’s special. Baby, would you like, to spend the night, the whole night…?

If you want to, Come Thru.

Advanced tickets - Sold Out!
Limited tickets available on the door for £7 - arrive early to avoid disappointment, we usually hit capacity!

A confluence of Sugar (Minott), Spice and "Everything Nice", expert blenders Kazabon and Hootie Who bring their World Carnival sound to Leeds once more. Dancehall, soca and Afropop tend to feature in Hipsters Don't Dance sets alongside all the UK club niceness that stems from diasporic developments. They've been throwing their own parties for years and you can catch them on Radar Radio month in, month out to boot. We're extremely hyped to have them come shake up CHUNK somethin' good and put you in the mood to make moves this Valentine's.

// MANARA \\

A few years ago Manara made the decision to come off the bench and assert herself on the pitch. Now she’s the star trequartista running every game on whim. A key part of the Night Slugs/Fade To Mind vanguard and a co-founder of the ever-incisive BBC AZN NETWORK, Manara’s sets channel a UK-based South Asian experience where bhangra, dancehall, RnB and garage are interweaved seamlessly. Both Manara and HDD have influenced and inspired what we do at Come Thru in some way, so you know CT6 is gonna be a wicked one.

Come Thru’s own Care Bear Docterre is usually the last one standing behind the decks, so we decided to throw him on first and see whether he can still last that long. He’ll be playing an opening set for us for the first time, fresh from his Ligue 1 radio shows on Radar. There’ll be hip-hop with a flightpath from ATL to CDG, grime, baile funk and bashment services on board, and we do anticipate experiencing a little bassline turbulence here and there. Maybe. Probably.

Residents and Truants alike, last round’s debutant/first round’s co-founder Jess and the completely anonymous, totally mysterious TAYSTII hit the decks too. Jess’ll be dropping all the classic CT swan song hits plus Frankensteinian edits of every tune you hold dear, whilst TAYSTII brings his Clangistani roots to the table and pretends to try and not break anything.

Come Thru aims to be an inclusive and positive club environment.
We will not stand for prejudiced behaviour including (but not restricted to) sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, ableism and ageism.
We would ask our guests to reject binaries, respect people’s boundaries and refrain from making assumptions about other guests.
We expect our guests to share these ideals and practise them in their lives outside of the event too.
We respect the rights of our guests to challenge behaviours which cause themselves or others discomfort.
If you have any issues on the night, please contact the organisers (Jess, Harvey, Helena or Tayyab) and we will work together to seek a solution. This message will be postered up around the venue with pictures of the organisers to help you recognise us.

CHUNK unfortunately does not have step-free access. Still, we would love to be as accommodating as possible so we do encourage you to send us a message at to enquire about accessibility, and we can see whether we can sort something out ahead of the event.
