NO HOT ASHES

“It’s banging, progressive, future-psych tinged funk with rapped edges and the crowds love it.” – Louder Than War (Feb 2016)

No Hot Ashes are a four-piece band from Stockport (Manchester). The sound they have settled on is heavy bass infused Chilli Peppers meets James Brown with a rap / hip hop overlay. The combination is as infectious as it is fresh and in an era of samey local guitar bands of varying qualities. They are band you have to see live as their performances ooze raw funk rhythms and a passion for entertaining crowds.

With a wide range of musical influences from Red Hot Chili Peppers, James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Doobie Brothers and Stone Roses. No Hot Ashes have developed their own brand of future-psych funk. Performing at almost every venue in Manchester over the past 2 years they have built a solid fan base and a reputation for raucous live shows.

No Hot Ashes have picked up a number plays on BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 6 as well as an array of local radio stations around the North West and further afield. They have amassed over 350,000 streams on Spotify and have supported bands such as Spring King, Blossoms, Prides & Walking on Cars on their UK Tours. Alongside this they have been booked for major festivals such as Kendal Calling, Y Not Festival and Tramlines.

FIONAS RUN

NEW ALBUM 'COLOUR OF SOUND' OUT NOW

Fionas Run are an indie band from the East Midlands.

With a huge cauldron of bubbling musical influences, the band have adhered their wide range of musical tastes from the cataclysmic mathcore madness of The Dillinger Escape Plan to the funky melodic masterpieces of Duran Duran and have crafted an Indie Rock song writing machine that is as diverse as it is talented.

Despite Fionas Run being very much in its early stages, they've managed to accrue an impressive list of gigs already, inlcuding dates at Sheffield's Corporation and also the legendary Glastonbudget festival.

The passion is there. The need to play live shows is there. It's only a matter of time before they're a name on lots of music lover's radars.
