This Easter Sunday at The Night Kitchen, we pay for your sins with an offering of blessed techno and unholy jungle rollers. The last days of Sheffield’s beloved underground venue are upon us. We plan to say goodbye with the send-off it deserves.

SULLY // [Keysound / Astrophonica / Black Acre]

Best known for his pioneering blend of UK garage, dubstep and 2-step, Sully returned from a short hiatus with ‘Blue’, his debut jungle release on Keysound. Since then he’s gained notoriety in the jungle scene for channelling the character of 94’ with his own distinct 21st century production style.

PERCUSSIVE P // [Green Bay Wax]

With a high-energy take on the oldschool sound, this upcoming producer knows the amen break like the back of his hand. A key proponent of the Green Bay Wax sound, Percussive P brings original styles to shell down any dancefloor.

ANIKONIK // [Junglism Scotland / Electrikal Sound System]

With residencies for the mighty Electrikal Soundsystem and Junglism Scotland to her name, Anikonik knows exactly what to pull out of the bag to keep you on your feet. Expect hard hitting footwork jungle and a few surprises.

FLASHMASTER LEXX // [Smiley Selassie]

Sync button specialist and part-time jungle producer Flashmaster Lexx has been known to play anything from donk to nu metal when the time is wrong. This Easter he’ll be laying down a sinful selection of booty, ghettotech and 4x4 jungle.

ABSULUM // [Smiley Selassie]

Founding member of Smiley Selassie Soundsystem and junglist wizard, Absulum enjoys a varied musical diet. Prepare for anything from rare oldschool rollers to intense contemporary bangers.

BENEATH // [Tectonic / PAN / No Symbols / Berceuse Heroique ]

No Symbols founder Beneath brings his unique and hard-hitting sound to The Night Kitchen. He's known for his deep and rough take on the UK's Techno sound, drawing influence from Grime and early Dubstep with his lengthy discography.

MARK FORSHAW aka CASIO ROYALE // [Berceuse Heroique / Dixon Avenue Basement Jams / Mathematics Recordings]

Having been on the scene since the late 90s, Liverpool's Mark Forshaw is a true veteran of the UK Acid sound. His productions are powerful, intense and extremely funky. Expect 303s, 808s and overall, an intense club experience.

As you can hear from the link above, Godot's mixes are on point. After witnessing his last few shows at Aqualab in Sheffield we couldn't resist getting him down for what will be a compelling selection of Industrial and Electro sounds.

NOMADIC & DEBURGH [Don't Look Now]

The chiefs at Don't Look Now will as usual be providing a splendid selection of off-kilter and dizzying Techno. You better have good sea legs for this one!
