DJ CLENT -
From the early days digging through the record collections of his DJ parents to his first MPC at 16 years old DJ Clent has always been all about the music.
He cut his teeth as the DJ for YGGP dance crew and then became know throughout Chicago for his mixtapes, such as the 100% Ghetto series and Southside Beatdown with DJ Flint. After meeting DJ Greedy he was inspired to start making his own tracks, which led to the creation of the Beatdown House imprint with Majik Myke.
Clent was the last artist signed to Dane Mania, has released on labels such as Planet Mu, Juke Trax, Duck n Cover and Subterranean Playhouse amongst others.
J DRAGO, DJ NOIR - JUKEBOUNCE WERK
JDrago, Noir and the Juke Bounce Werk collective have laid the groundwork in the expansion of Chicago Juke/Footwork and 160bpm music in their hometown of Los Angeles, California.
Juke Bounce Werk began as a local monthly event in Los Angeles in the spring of 2013, and have since flourished into a weekly staple hosting and supporting the likes of the genres heavyweights such as RP BOO, JLIN, DJ Earl, DJ Clent, Gant-Man, Fracture and more.
JBW soon became an essential music platform via their Soundcloud through implementation of a weekly top ten mix series, which saw participation from artists around the globe. The series became the go-to standard for the worldwide juke and footwork music community.
JBW saw their first various artist EP release in the summer of 2014 and has since released over a dozen artist compilations and solo artist projects. They continue to push the sound as one of the most active DJ duos in the city of Los Angeles, and have recently played the Chicago mecca of footwork, Battlegroundz, as well as Battle Train Tokyo in Japan. JDrago and Noir have just finished a 5 city tour of Southern New Zealand, and have performed at the legendary Low End Theory in LA.
The collective has grown to international levels with a total of 12 members across the US and New Zealand.
