Join us as we bring together the two the worlds of music club culture and performance at Trinity on one night and with one special ticket.

We are presenting Rider Shafique (Young Echo), who performs his new show I-Dentity: When I Was 5 My Mother Told Me That I Was Black, in Fyfe Hall from 7.30pm followed by one of our longest running club nights; Teachings in Dub, brought to you by DJ Stryda and on this occasion presenting the mighty Channel One Sound System, taking over the Main Hall from 10pm.

We joined forces to provide one super ticket that give you access to both events.

Rider is a Gloucester born dual heritage artist.
I-Dentity is a piece of spoken word theatre that explores questions around race and identity informed by Rider’s personal experiences of growing up in Gloucester. It reflects shared insecurities surrounding identity, feelings of powerlessness and exclusion.
