***Our workshops are not-for-profit and completely volunteer run - all the money from ticket sales goes towards materials, equipment and improving the Print Room at DIY Space for London!
We want our workshops to be open to everyone, so please email email@example.com if the full ticket price is prohibitive - or if you have any specific access needs you want to discuss -and we’ll do what we can to make sure you can attend!
You can also email us if the spaces are full but you’d like to be put on the waiting list!***
Learn to *RISO at DIY Space for London!
This session is for beginners to intermediate: we'll be taking you through the whole RISO process..for everyone to come away with a print!
If there's something particular you want to print, you can bring designs ready for risograph to the workshop - or there'll be time and help for creating riso-ready artwork at the workshop itself.
Riso is a cost-effective way to print striking, colourful designs in large quantities.
We can print posters, flyers, business cards, greeting cards. For this first workshop, we'll be making two colour prints. When/if you're thinking about designs to make, please note, due to the type of machine at DIY space, maximum image size is A4. Our inks are fluro pink, red, blue, yellow, black.
N.B. The Riso, like every printer or photocopier you've ever met can be a little temperamental - it won't always be a smooth ride!
For information on how to format your image before the class, or any other questions please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are limited spaces available at each workshop
and they must be booked in advance, so that we can be sure of numbers!
DIY Space for London is on a single floor level, with access ramps, widened doors, an accessible toilet and plenty of space for maneuvering and getting away from crowds. There is plenty of seating available and the toilets are gender neutral and accessible.
On entering the venue there is a small ramp, which is quite steep and might require assistance going up and down. If you are a wheelchair user and not travelling with anyone, let us know in advance you are coming so someone at the venue can be there to assist.
