Bringing along fine friends 'Landless' are Ruth Clinton, Meabh Meir, Sinead Lynch and Lily Power. They sing unaccompanied traditional songs from Irish, Scottish, English and American traditions in beautiful close four part harmony. Their repertoire features songs of love, death and lamentation as well as work songs and shape-note hymns in addition to songs from the more recent folk canon. The group have played across Europe & Ireland including a variety of major Irish festivals and have performed on Irish primetime television - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VKgw-Zjt-M - in addition to a recent Lyric FM session - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL0rxmzzOCo

Also good friend Ian Nesbitt / Outside Film will be showcasing his wonderful film 'Settlers in England' - a collaborative social history of the Oxcroft Land Settlement near Bolsover, high on a hill in the North-East corner of Derbyshire. The film examines ideas of food production, environment and community through the eyes of current residents, some of whom moved onto the estate at its inception in 1936 as the children of original settlers and have never left.

This event is a collaborative effort presented by 'Folk Forest' alongside 'Regather' who will be running a bar for all Beers, Wines & non-alcoholic refreshments.

The Heretic Folk Club will also be DJ on the night, playing a wide eclectic mix for all vibes concerned.
