Serendip is releasing their first album 'The Tale' at Total Refreshment Centre.

'Serendip' is a project led by Belgian saxophonist Arnaud Guichard.
The project is inspired by the ancient Persian tale ‘The three princes of Serendip’ by Amir Khusrau.
The project evolves around 8 compositions that melodically narrate impressions of the tale, acoustically exploring the meaning of the word ‘serendipity’ (unexpected fortunate discovery) through musical language.

The evening will also feature the exciting band Beat Replacement.

Beat Replacement is a Modern Jazz group led by Jamie Murray who consider this to be 'The Mothership Group' to help him explore the endless boundaries and new realms in the moment of musical creation and improvisation.
